The first time we pulled into Quartzsite, it was late afternoon.

The kind of late afternoon where everyone is hungry and slightly dramatic.

The kids were in that stage of road trip cranky where one of them can cry because a chip

broke in half.

We had just left Phoenix.

My brain was still buzzing.

Emails. Calls. Deadlines. The usual business-owner hamster wheel. 🐹💻
